Christadelphians NZ
Christadelphians NZ is a website for exploring the Bible, the hope of God’s Kingdom and the principles of faithful discipleship. The name Christadelphian means “brothers in Christ”.
This website introduces the faith we hold and the scriptural reasons for it. It is for people encountering the Bible for the first time, for those exploring Christian teaching, and for fellow Christadelphians examining questions of belief and fellowship.
The hope at the centre
We believe God’s purpose centres on Jesus Christ: his obedient life, death, resurrection and return. Through him God offers forgiveness and the hope of everlasting life in a renewed earth. The promises of Scripture give direction to how we live now and what we look for in the future.
An open Bible and careful discussion
We encourage readers to examine passages in context, consider the whole scriptural account and ask honest questions. The writings of Robert Roberts and other Christadelphian expositors are useful companions to that study; Scripture remains the authority by which their arguments and ours must be tested.
Our studies make a positive case, then address objections and alternative readings. The intention is thoughtful conviction grounded in the text, with respect for the people taking part in the discussion.
Why we discuss fellowship
Shared faith includes responsibility for the teaching and conduct we knowingly support. We believe ecclesial independence must operate within obedience to Christ. Our dedicated study explains why responsibility can extend beyond the local congregation, and the care required in establishing each link.
