A city measured—and a people described.

Revelation identifies the vision with the bride, the Lamb’s wife, then shows a holy city descending from God. Its equal dimensions are part of a richly symbolic description of holiness, glory and God’s presence with his people.

The model helps visualise the reported dimensions. It is a geometrical study, not proof that the completed vision must take the form of a literal giant building. The interpretation should begin with the angel’s description and the passage as a whole.

God with humanity

The vision’s hope is God dwelling with humanity and the removal of death, sorrow and pain. Its final message belongs with the resurrection and renewal promised throughout Scripture.
